Family Fun Day

Sunday 6th August 2006
Family Fun Day with fun fair rides, including one of the country?s oldest touring Gallopers, Climbing wall, and Punch and Judy shows. Great Yarmouth will play host toone of Britain?s oldest touring Gallopers in the town centre as this incredibly well preserved traditional fairground carousel returns to Norfolk some 120 years after it was built in Kings Lynn in 1885. The Gallopers will stay in the town centre for a week and on Sunday 6th August will be joined by a number of other rides including the Tea Cups for the younger ones and climbing walls for the more adventurous souls, as part of a family fun day to encourage greater use of the town centre on Sundays. Punch and Judy shows, free face painting and much more will make sure everyone will home with a smile on their face.
