Santa's Post Office

Saturday 2nd December 2017 - Saturday 23rd December 2017
Venue: Market Square

The Town Centre Partnership is to re-open the popular ‘Santa’s Post Office’ in the Market Square again this Christmas. The ‘Post Office’ was used by over 850 children last year as they wrote and posted their all important letter to Father Christmas. The ‘Santa’s Post Office’ will open on Saturday 2rd December in the specially built wooden cabin near the ice rink in the market square. It will be open to children of all ages accompanied by their parents to write their letter to Father Christmas using special festive headed paper.  Assisted by Santa’s Elves and taking some inspiration for their letter from the Magical Post Office or from some fabulously festive sample letters, the children will be able to write and decorate their letter and post it in Santa's Enchanted Post Box and watch its route to Lapland on the magic map! Every letter sent will get a response from the big man himself!

Santa’s Post Office is being run by the Town Centre Partnership and will be free to visit. It will open for weekends and late night shopping on Wednesdays from Saturday 2nd December and then daily from Wednesday 20th December until it closes for another year on Saturday 23rd December.
