Cycle route nears completion

A 500,000 project to turn a former railway line into a route for cyclists and pedestrians is nearing completion. The Great Eastern Linear Park project in Lowestoft has now been built, finishing the link between Yarmouth Road and North Quay Retail Park started in June 1998. The whole route covers 1800m with links to schools, Lowestoft College, Water Lane leisure centre, and the town centre.
