Great Yarmouth - End of the World According To Moore

A minor row is brewing locally as a recently published book by travel author Tim Moore includes Great Yarmouth in a pitiful journey up the East coast of the country. The book, titled 'You Are Aweful (But I Like You) : Travels Around Unloved Britain' tells of the author's travels in an old Austin Maestro, listening to dreadful music and visiting places considered to be unloved.

Comparisons with Bill Bryson are bound to be made but Moore appears to have none of Bryson's dry authorative wit, instead going for relatively cheap laughs at every opportunity.

Much of the book is very funny and well observed, however, but for Yarmouth it's definitely not a case of all publicity being better than no publicity.
