Covid-19 “Lockdown” Business Info
As part of the measures announced by Boris Johnson on Monday 23rd March 2020 to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus, many town centre businesses will have to close their doors until further notice.
Below is a summarised list of the exceptions to the new laws:
Supermarkets and other food shops, health shops, pharmacies including non-dispensing pharmacies, petrol stations, bicycle shops, home and hardware shops, launderettes and dry cleaners, garages, car rentals, pet shops, corner shops, newsagents, post offices and banks.
Market stalls selling food and grocery items can also stay open.
Businesses offering food deliveries and take away are also allowed to remain open.
